Proof of Build ("we", "us", "our") operates proofofbuild.app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We collect minimal data and do not sell it to anyone.

When you use Proof of Build, we may collect:

  • Contributor submissions — if you submit a builder via the contribute form, we collect your name, email, X handle, and the builder information you provide. This is used solely to process your submission.
  • Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized page view data. No personally identifiable information is stored.
  • Builder profile data — builder names, X handles, bios, and project information are sourced from public information and manually verified. If you are a builder and want your information updated or removed, contact us.

Data we do not collect

  • We do not use tracking cookies
  • We do not serve ads or share data with advertisers
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not require account creation to use the site

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the site: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database), OpenAI (AI filtering), twitterapi.io (public Twitter data), GitHub API (public repository data), CoinGecko (public market data), and DeFiLlama (public TVL data). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.

Builder data requests

If you are a builder listed on Proof of Build and would like to update or remove your profile, contact us on X at @shubhh_hum. We will process requests within 7 days.
